Why some obvious things aren't in here
Nothing with alcohol in it. No mouthwash, no hand sanitizer, no perfume, no dry shampoo. People drink these, and on a unit where someone is three days into detox that's a real risk, so facilities ban them categorically.
No bar soap. More centers prohibit it than allow it. Body wash passes everywhere we've checked.
No pens. A surprising number of facilities ban them outright. The notebook still goes in — most centers will hand over a pen.
No spiral binding. It's the wire.
Nothing glass, nothing metal. That's why the water bottle is plastic, and we leave it out for programs that ban personal bottles.
Before it ships
Pick the treatment program above and we check every item against its published policy. If it isn't listed, choose "Not listed" and type the name; we'll look up its rules.
Shipping
Kits ship within 3-5 business days. If the admission date is sooner than that, email us before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it. We would rather lose the sale than miss the date.
